Netsuisse builds European technology for the Smart Workforce across three fields — MOVE (e-mobility), CONNECT (telecommunications), and WORK (building & IT solutions). The group is Swiss-rooted, with locations in Villmergen, Barcelona, and Edinburgh. Its open platform workforceOS ties all three fields together on a shared data layer, built for hybrid infrastructure: central cloud plus local edge, managed as one.

A broad, hands-on role

This is a deliberately broad role for someone comfortable wearing several hats: part hands-on infrastructure engineering, part customer-project delivery, part solution architecture, and part business analysis and development. You will design, build, and operate the core network, storage, virtualisation, and application landscape, while also running customer and partner projects across MOVE, CONNECT, and WORK. You work directly with the Managing Director as a close, trusted counterpart and collaborate with the engineering team in Switzerland and other locations.

Alongside the technical work, a valued part of this role is actively developing project business in the Spanish market — leveraging your network to open doors and working with vendor partners to bring solutions to market. As revenue and billable hours grow, so does the team in Spain, and you will be early enough to help shape it.

What Netsuisse is looking for

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of hands-on enterprise ICT infrastructure experience, strong networking depth (routing, switching, firewalls, VPN across multi-site and edge topologies), solid Linux and Microsoft Server skills, and experience managing hybrid on-premise, edge, and cloud environments. Business-analyst capability at the business–technology interface and an established — or buildable — network in the Spanish IT market are equally important. The role is based in Barcelona (hybrid, min. 2–3 days on-site) and is not an offshore or nearshore position. Professional English and Spanish are both required.
